Ride-sharing in San Francisco

Below is a comprehensive list of graphs created using data collected from san-francisco-after-uber-rate-change on What's The Fare, a quick way to compare fare estimates from Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, and taxis. For a summary of our most interesting findings, read our post: It Pays to Compare: Ride-sharing by the Numbers. A summary of our methodology and caveats can be found there as well.

  1. Considering the Lyft Line program....Lyft is actually even cheaper (half off the whatsthefaire.com estimate). Considering this is available whenever (unlike SideCar's sharing service), it might be the cheapest way to get around for a while (even cheaper than the bus at times!!)

Would be really interested to see how Uber Pool, Lyft Line, and SideCar's ride sharing stack up as that's obviously the direction we're all moving towards.
